Roberto Duran

Roberto Duran (born 16th of June 1951), from Panama, is universally regarded as one of the greatest boxers of all time. A brawler who brought incredible levels of rage and violence to the ring. He had an almost unparrelled ability of putting pressure on an opponent, making him miss and then punishing him. Duran was a master at forcing his opponent to fight him, rather than box him. He had a concrete chin along with endless stamina and knockout power in both hands. Duran held World Titles in four different weight classes (Lightweight, Welterweight, Junior Middleweight and Middleweight). Duran fought the very best these divisions had to offer, fighting such All-Time greats as 'Sugar' Ray Leonard, Tommy Hearns, Ken Buchanan and Marvin Hagler, as well as greats like Ernesto Marcel, Pipino Cuevas and Esteban De Jesus. Duran retired with a career record of; 119 fights, 103 wins (70 by KO) and 16 losses.
