Ismael Laguna
Ismael Laguna (born 28th of June 1943), from Panama, is a former two time World Lightweight Champion and inductee into the International Boxing Hall of Fame. Ismael was known as a skillful ctaftsman in the ring. He was the Panamanian Featherweight Champion from 1962 until 1963, and World Lightweight Champion in 1965 and 1970. Fighting along the way the best the Lightweight division could offer; a draw against defensive genius Nicolino Locche, 2 losses against Ken Buchanan and wins against Carlos Hernandez, Carlos Ortiz and Ishimatsu Suzuki. He retired with a career record of; 75 fights, 65 wins (37 by KO), with 9 losses and 1 draw.
